 We need you! Without people like you we cannot make this happen. Matthew 25:35-40 says: "...for I was hungry and you gave me food. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you looked after me...whatever you did to the least of these, you did it to me. "
Through serving in ministry work at Cypress Meadows Community Church we have found that our God-given purpose in life is to serve the needs of the forgotten, the invisible and the voiceless of society. In Kenya, these are the orphans and street children. But, we cannot succeed without you! James 1:27 states, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress..." We hope that you will prayerfully consider helping us make this happen. You can make a difference. We know that not all people have the calling to go out into the mission field. But through your prayers and resources, we can help these children together. You can contribute to the vision in the following ways: - Prayer - It begins and ends with prayer. Please keep our ministry in your daily prayers.
- Financial Support - We welcome any financial contribution. You can make your donation through Cypress Meadows Community Church, 2180 N. McMullen Booth Rd., Clearwater, Fl. 33759. Make checks payable to CMCC, and be sure you clearly write KENYA in the memo section at the lower left-hand corner.
- New World of Hope - This is a grassroots endeavor. Please visit our friend Eric Mabie's website, A New World of Hope Foundation, for donation information. All Donations made through A New World of Hope goes strictly to building, food, and medical needs of children.
- Construction Costs - $50K to build the care center that will accommodate 40-50 children with room for more. $20K to build a medical clinic that can attack the orphan epidemic at its root cause (dying parents).
- Child Sponsorship - You can sponsor a child for $35 per month. This will provide food, clothing, and an education for a very deserving child. You may make donations Cypress Meadows Community Church.
- Future Mission Groups - We are looking forward to having church groups and medical teams come help us fulfill our mission in Kenya.
