springs of hope

Joseph has been in Kenya now for about a month, and he is keeping in frequent contact. Yesterday he met a woman named Rahab, she is 28, and has 3 children ages 2, 4, and 6. Her husband has recently died, and she is having a very hard time making it. She works 5 to 6 days a week from 5 am to 8 pm and makes $1.50 a day. Joseph spoke with her & we are hoping to get her into the Threads of Hope Sewing school so that she can earn more money, and possibly help her monthly. These are the type of situations where we feel that we can try to step in and help so that she can continue to keep her children in a family unit, and so that she can learn a trade, and help lift herself & her dear children out of this hopeless predicament.
