Well to day we went to the land to see how it was progressing, and it is nicely. It is going to take sometime to get it all leveled so that we can state laying the stones.
We were able to go visit Monica from the hospital she is Nancy,s Mother. It seems like another miracle has occured because if you saw this women last week and what she looks like today the are two totally different people. She looked very good. We brought her some fruit, and she told us she was ready to be released. This is the woman last week that was sick from her AIDS, had no hope, and now was looking well, and hopeful. They would not let her go until she paid her bill for her bed which is about 150 shillings a day. So that does not make much sense, but that is what they require. So she could not go home.So we felt we had to help her so she could. She was very thankful. These are the situations where it is hard to say no. As we talked to her again there women all over this place sick from AIDS. Some looking at you in way that you know they are thinking maybe they can help Me! It is heartbreaking.

There was a woman in the bed next to Monica who was very, very thin and frail. I reached out to her to hand for a moment, but she would not let go. I could hardly here her when she spoke so I had to get in very close to her. Then I Daniel told me that she was asying that she wanted to be saved.

    Molly & Joe,

The blog continues to be such a blessing to be able to keep up with what is going on with you. Thank you for taking the time to update us, as I’m sure your days are full and exhausting.

In my mind’s eye I can see you as the shining love of God that you are to all those you are coming in contact with. I can only imagine the spark of hope you bring to those you are helping - a human touch, smile, love and much needed items.

I’m so proud to be your friend. Take good care of each other as you give your all to so many…..the Lord needs you strong in mind and body. We love and miss you and pray for you regularly. Considered yourself HUGGED!

Oh my, I’m getting chills reading the end of that last blog entry. I’m so excited to read that there are people around you that are being so drawn toward God that they tell you they want to be saved. That must be beautiful to see in the middle of such tragedy. I feel like getting on a plane right now to come serve with you! Then we could write a book about the movement of our King in Kenya!

Have a great day! Say hi to Elijah for me and let him know that I am praying for him today.

    Peace.

    Molly, Joseph and Elijah,

We were down in Florida last month and apparently missed you guys by a few days! We were so excited to hear that you were finally able to travel to Kenya together as a family. Reading your blog is amazing. Your experiences really come alive and I was filled with hope and amazement at how God is working through all of you. Moving to Wisconsin has been so good for us in so many ways (especially for Sara) but we miss our friends and our church in Florida. Reading your blog and stories about what you are doing and what you are seeing helps me keep things in perspective! God be with all of you and may He continue working through you.
Hang in there and please know we are praying for you. You are loved and missed!
