Below is an update from our dear friend Joseph. He is one of the people we are assisting during the crisis as he and hiw family are doing there best to help the families displaced from the crisis:

Dear Joe,
Beloved of the Lord!!
Thanks so much for the offering.
God. May God reward you .

UPDATES

a) Sister Wanja who was in the hospital has fully recovered. We cleared her 3
day bill and drugs and today we gave her ksh1000 for upkeep. She has not gotten
a permanent job to cater for her children
b) Mr Waweru succeeded last week in having her son join secondary form 1 . We
gave them ksh3000 for upkeep and to engage in charcoal or onion business so as
to release stress and generate some income. Mr Waweru needs further counseling
as he has even reduced weight from 72kg to 55 kg. Most of the days he is just on
bed thinking.
c) A psychological counselor/pastor came and shared with them all on 2nd march.
He identified the critical ones for further counseling. We all had church
together in the plot. It was good time for spiritual enrichment.
d) We have bought some vegetables for them at ksh1,000 and on Wednesday we shall
buy 8 bags of 90kg maize(corn) at a total cost of ksh10,000 and share to them in
the plot, one in show ground, and 3 families (from Makutano, Banita and Kitale)
e) 3 married ladies came to our house on Tuesday 4th. They were searching for
food. We gave them and asked them to come today and we have given them ksh1000
f) The cook whose house was burnt took his family to Muranga for escape. He
called us informing us of how they are starving and have no food or money. We
sent ksh1000 for transport and he came leaving the family behind. On Wednesday
we shall allocate him a house in the farm where he can assist and we provide
food, shelter and purchases of tools like hoe, machete, fork axe etc. we have
given him ksh1000 to send to his wife.

Dearly beloved, the service you are offering is rewarding,. Its healing the
souls, spirits and bodies of the distressed. We are all good stewards of his
service and we shall receive our heavenly reward.
Please, please pass our heartfelt gratitude to all that are supporting us in
moral, spiritual and financial provision.
Our prayer is for God to sustain all of you under his glorious wings.
Amen and amen
In Him,

Kenya Crisis update

Below another update from our friend Joseph:

Thank God - Calm has returned in Kenya. There is freedom of movement and
worship.

However the Trauma, the fears, the memories remain. Psychological healing is
necessary. Also the injured, the displaced, the thirsty, the hungry and those in
the cold need some food and warmth. The provision of basic needs (food, clothing
& shelter) is desperately needed. They need a home.

With everything burnt, the next question is “What do we do - what do we do” we
plead with you to be part of the answer.

Eminent people have come to Kenya to negotiate for justice and reconciliation
BUT ONLY THE PRINCE OF PEACE CAN RESTORE PEACE. This is HE who is binding in
us. If only we Kenyans take our position of Authority in realisation of HIM in
us the Hope f Glory. Amen.

We prayerfully request for loving friends of goodwill to willingly donate money,
food, medical facilities and other supplies to help the displaced & the
suffering. Thanks so much as we appreciate your standing with us in these trying
times. We are coordinating with various organizations and churches distributing
the donations to displaced people.

We bless God for you. Thanks for being part of us during these times of anguish
and turmoil. We shall soon be above it. It shall be a thing of the past.

God bless you greatly.

In Jesus name.
