We are asking for your prayers at this time as the tribal unrest has spread to the Nakuru area. Please keep Joseph, Jotham and his family in your prayers. Joseph told me that the Kikuyu’s (of course those of thug mentality) are now seeking revenge and burning homes and hurting innocent people.
Please know that this is nothing but thugs wreaking this havoc on people who have done nothing to deserve this.
One woman sought refuge at Jotham’s and she has four small children. Her husband is away and they told her to get her belongings, and leave or she would have her home set on fire. This is very close to home for us now. Pray for a hedge of protection around Joseph, Jotham, and his family, and the church, and clinic, and of course all of the innocent people who are suffering in Kenya because of all of this indiscriminate violence. Pray that their night is peaceful… WE NEED PEACE! PLEASE PRAY HARD!

Sunday was a full day of Ministry for Joseph & his partners. They started their day ministering to the families and children who live in the dump. Another heart wrenching experience, but he can never really explain how humbling this is. It is something that you cannot quite explain, but you would have to experience to it understand. He said that some of the friends he serves with who have lived in this area all of their lives never new that this place exstisted. People here live off the the waste that is on this dump, but Joseph said he has met some wonderful people here. He met a woman named Dorcas who was so happy that they came to see them today, and help them that she wept, and that made him weep. They also met a woman who has 5 children, and she has cerebral malaria. She is not always coherent to care for her children, but Dorcas tries to help her. these are just a few of the stories. Please pray fro these people as we continue to minister to them.
